500kg+
fabric diverted from landfill, one donation at a time.
Since 2023, our Upcycle Collective has kept hundreds of kilograms of material in the hands of makers and out of landfill. Every donation becomes something new.
Donate materialsWhat we accept
If it's textile, we want it. Anything that can be cut, stitched, or reimagined has a place in the library.
Fabric remnants
Cotton, silk, linen, wool — offcuts from projects or end-of-roll pieces.
Leather & suede
Scraps, offcuts, damaged bags or jackets. All leathers welcome.
Buttons & zips
Vintage or modern. We sort and catalogue every piece.
Thread & yarn
Partial spools, dead balls, discontinued colours. All useful.
Old garments
Clothes too worn to wear but too good to bin. We give them new purpose.
Haberdashery
Ribbon, beads, interfacing, lace — the small things that matter.
From the upcycle showcase

How it works
The upcycle collective runs a simple loop: you donate, we catalogue, makers create, everyone shares. Here's how a piece of fabric moves through the system.
Donate
Fill out our form or book a call. We'll talk through what you have, how much, and the best way to get it to us.
Sort & catalogue
Everything is sorted by hand at our Kazimierz studio. Usable fabric goes into our maker network for new pieces.
Create
Designers and students browse our inventory and request materials. Every piece finds a new purpose.
Share
Makers transform donations into new pieces and share the story. You get a thank-you note with the impact of your contribution.

Frequently asked
What kinds of fabric and material can I donate?
Anything textile-based — cotton, linen, wool, silk, denim, leather and suede offcuts, full garments you no longer wear, dead stock from a label, end-of-roll fabric, threads and yarns, buttons, zips, ribbons, and haberdashery. If it can be cut, stitched, or reimagined, we want it. We can't take heavily soiled, mouldy, or wet items.
Where do I drop things off?
We have four collection points across Kraków — including our flagship Slow Fashion Cafe at ul. Józefa 12 in Kazimierz, open Mon–Sat 10:00–19:00. Outside Kraków we run points in Warsaw, Łódź, Poznań, and Gdańsk. Use the map on this page to find the closest one.
I have a bigger load — can you collect from me?
Yes. For donations of 10kg or more we offer a free pickup from your studio, apartment, or business across all five of our partner cities, usually within five working days. Just submit a pickup request and we'll arrange a slot.
What actually happens to my donation?
Everything is sorted by hand at our Kazimierz studio. Usable fabric goes into our maker network for new pieces, garments are upcycled by partner designers, smaller offcuts become trims and accessories, and anything we can't reuse is sent for proper textile recycling — never landfill.
Do you work with brands and businesses?
We do. Polish and EU labels, ateliers, hotels, and event companies use Upcycle Collective to divert dead stock, offcuts, and decommissioned uniforms from landfill. We provide a signed certificate of diversion, monthly weight reports, and an annual audit suitable for ESG and B Corp reporting.
Can I see the impact of my donation?
Yes. We publish an annual impact report — total fabric diverted, makers paid, and pieces produced — and individual donors get a thank-you note with the weight and category of their contribution. In 2025 the collective diverted over 500kg of textile from landfill.
