Terms and Conditions

Last updated: 10 June 2026

1. Introduction

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of https://www.thefabricrepublic.com and services offered by Fabric Republic Ltd ("Fabric Republic", "we", "us"). By browsing the site, submitting an enquiry, or completing a booking, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our services. Fabric Republic curates and books fashion, design, and maker experiences and classes in Poland. We also publish stories and reviews, support study enrolment enquiries, and operate community initiatives such as the Upcycle Collective where enabled on the site.

2. Our services

Experiences and maker classes Experiences and maker classes listed on the site are delivered by Fabric Republic and/or independent partner businesses ("Hosts"). Session availability, meeting points, duration, capacity, and pricing are shown on the relevant listing and booking flow. Study enrolment enquiries Our study enrolment pages provide information and enquiry handling for programmes with partner schools. Fabric Republic is an enrolment support service, not a degree-awarding institution. Admission decisions rest with the partner school. Reviews and stories User reviews may be moderated before publication. Editorial stories are for information and inspiration and do not form part of a contractual offer unless expressly stated.

3. Bookings and confirmations

A booking is confirmed only when: • You complete the reservation flow for an available session • Payment is successfully taken through Stripe Checkout (or another method we expressly offer in writing) • You receive a booking confirmation email You must provide accurate contact details. You are responsible for arriving on time at the stated meeting point with any requirements described in your confirmation. You must be at least 18 to make a booking, or have consent from a parent or guardian for participants aged 12–17 in experiences and maker classes only.

4. Prices and currency

Prices are shown on listings and in the booking flow. Unless stated otherwise on the listing: • Checkout is processed in the currency configured for that offering (currently typically GBP through Stripe) • Display prices may be converted into other currencies for convenience; the amount charged at checkout is the authoritative price • Prices include applicable taxes only where explicitly stated Fabric Republic may charge a platform reservation fee on bookings. Where a Host uses Stripe Connect, the full booking value may be charged at checkout and split between Fabric Republic and the Host according to our marketplace model. Any balance payable directly to the Host on the day of the experience will be stated before payment.

5. Payment

Payments are processed by Stripe. By paying, you also agree to Stripe's applicable terms and privacy policy. We do not store full payment card numbers on our servers. Failed or abandoned checkout sessions may release held session capacity after a reasonable period. If a Host has not completed Stripe Connect onboarding, you may pay only Fabric Republic's reservation fee online, with any remaining amount payable to the Host as described during checkout.

6. Cancellations, changes, and no-shows

Unless a specific offering states otherwise: Experiences and maker classes • Free cancellation up to 48 hours before the scheduled start time • Cancellations within 48 hours are non-refundable but may be rescheduled to another available date at our discretion • No-shows are charged in full Graduate programme enquiries • Enrolment support fees, where charged separately from school tuition, are subject to the written agreement or proposal sent to you at the time of acceptance If we cancel a session (for example due to Host illness or insufficient capacity), you will receive a full refund of amounts paid to Fabric Republic for that booking or the option to rebook. Refund processing times depend on your bank and Stripe, typically 5–10 business days.

7. Host and partner responsibilities

Maker classes and some experiences are delivered in Host studios or venues. Hosts are responsible for the delivery of the session itself, including teaching, materials (unless stated otherwise), and on-site health and safety instructions. Fabric Republic is responsible for curating listings, operating the booking platform, customer communications we send, and collecting payments according to these Terms. Nothing in these Terms makes Fabric Republic the employer of Hosts. Hosts remain independent businesses or individuals delivering their own craft practice.

8. Participant conduct

You agree to follow reasonable instructions from Fabric Republic staff and Hosts, treat other participants with respect, and use tools and materials safely. We may refuse service or remove a participant without refund if behaviour is abusive, unsafe, discriminatory, or likely to disrupt the session or damage property.

9. Reviews and user content

When you submit a review, you confirm that it is honest, based on your experience, and does not infringe third-party rights. We may edit, reject, or remove reviews that are unlawful, misleading, abusive, or unrelated to our services. Published reviews may show your first name and location if provided. By submitting a review, you grant Fabric Republic a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display and quote it on the website and in marketing materials.

10. Intellectual property

All website content — including text, photography, branding, layout, and code — is owned by Fabric Republic or our licensors and protected by copyright and trade mark law. You may not copy, scrape, or reuse our content for commercial purposes without written permission. You may share links to our pages and make temporary copies incidental to normal browsing.

11. Limitation of liability

Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law (including death or personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud). Subject to that, Fabric Republic's total liability arising from a booking is limited to the amount you paid to Fabric Republic for that booking. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit, or events outside our reasonable control (including transport disruption, severe weather, government action, or Host unavailability where a reasonable alternative or refund is offered). Participation in experiences and maker classes involves normal workshop risks. You are responsible for your personal belongings.
