Every class happens at the Slow Fashion Cafe — a part-café, part-studio in Kazimierz where working craftspeople teach what they know.

Andrew has been working with leather for over fifteen years, starting in his grandfather's workshop in southern Poland. He trained at the Kraków Academy of Fine Arts and has taught hundreds of students — from complete beginners to working designers looking to understand construction from the maker's side. He still takes commissions, still makes mistakes, and still gets excited when a student's first stitch comes out clean.

Not at all. Most of our students arrive without ever having held a leather needle. Andrew guides you through every step — from the first cut to the final stitch.
A finished leather piece you'll be proud of — a card holder, a small pouch, or a bag strap depending on the class. Every piece is yours to keep, cut from responsibly sourced leather.
We provide everything: leather, tools, thread, an apron, and coffee throughout. Just bring yourself and comfortable clothing you don't mind getting a little wax or dye on.
Three to four hours with a break for coffee and something sweet. Small projects finish in one session; multi-piece classes like the handbag run across two evenings so your glue has time to set.
Maximum seven. We keep class sizes small on purpose — it means Andrew can sit down with each person, and your questions get proper answers.
Free reschedule up to 72 hours before the class. Inside 72 hours we'll move your seat to another date — we only charge if you don't show up and don't let us know.
